Rancho Mirage, CA: Fatal Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash on Bob Hope Drive
Driver Killed in Rancho Mirage Car Accident on Bob Hope Drive near Dinah Shore
Rancho Mirage, California (October 10, 2020) – One person was killed Saturday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Rancho Mirage, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened at around 7:48 p.m. on northbound Bob Hope Drive, just north of Dinah Shore.
Authorities said a white sport utility vehicle, driven by a 37-year-old Desert Hot Springs resident, was heading northbound on Bob Hope Drive at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and slammed into a curb.
The vehicle then overturned.
Deadly Solo Crash on Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage
The driver was ejected from the SUV and died at the scene. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of family.
It is undetermined if alcohol or drugs were factors in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
