Rider Killed in Rancho Cucamonga Motorcycle Accident on 210 Freeway near Archibald Avenue

Rancho Cucamonga, California (February 25, 2020) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, a male motorcyclist died following a traffic accident that occurred on Monday morning in Rancho Cucamonga.
The CHP said the motorcycle collision took place at around 5:15 a.m. on February 24, along the 210 Freeway, just east of Archibald Avenue.
The accident involved a male party riding a Yamaha YZF-R6 splitting lanes between the HOV and the number one at about 90 miles per hour and a Chevrolet Silverado and a Toyota Tacoma.
The primary report showed that the motorcyclist was trying to drive past the Silverado and the Tacoma, but eventually collided with the two cars. Due to the impact, the rider was ejected from his bike.

The victim sustained injuries in the crash. Medical personnel arrived at the scene shortly after the accident and administered CPR on the male victim.
The patient died at San Antonio Regional Hospital while undergoing treatment.
The CHP is gathering more evidence to identify the cause of the accident.
