Man Killed in Prunedale Crash on Highway 101 near CA-156
Prunedale, California (July 16, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning traffic accident that killed a man in Prunedale.
The deadly two-vehicle accident transpired at about 5:45 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 near CA-156.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man stepped out of his vehicle to call 911 about a crash on Highway 191 when an oncoming car struck him.
Sadly, the man sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
