1 Injured in Prunedale Car Accident at Echo Valley and Via Del Sol Roads
Prunedale, California (May 2, 2019) – At least one person was hurt in a traffic crash that involved two vehicles in Prunedale Wednesday afternoon.
The two-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 5:19 p.m. May 1, in the area of Echo Valley and Via Del Sol roads.
The California Highway Patrol indicated that two vehicles crashed at the intersection for reasons still under investigation. Due to the impact, one of the involved vehicles was fully engulfed in flames.
One person sustained minor injuries following the accident. The injured party was attended to by the paramedics along with Fire department officials who responded at the scene shortly after the crash. It was not clear whether or not the injured victim was taken to the hospital or not.
Both vehicles sustained significant front-end damage following the wreck.
The accident resulted in the closure of the roadway while police conducted the investigation.
The detectives handling the case are still investigating the leading cause of the crash.
