Johnathan Hall Arrested after San Jose Accident on Suncrest Avenue and Perie Lane
San Jose, California (May 8, 2021) – A man was arrested following a crash that injured a police officer in San Jose early Friday morning, according to the authorities.
The officer was walking back to his vehicle after performing a traffic stop when another driver struck him.
The officer was transported to a hospital with serious injuries that were not life-threatening.
The driver who hit the officer was driving a Subaru at an unsafe speed and fled the scene after the accident.
Johnathan Hall Arrested after San Jose DUI Accident
The suspect, identified as Johnathan Hall, was arrested shortly after the accident, which occurred at around 12:39 a.m. May 8.
He was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run, and his bail set at $150,000.
The incident is under investigation.
