Injuries Sustained in Pleasanton Car Accident on 580 Freeway near Santa Rita Road
Pleasanton, California (January 22, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision Monday evening in the area of Pleasanton, according to authorities.
The accident happened at around 5:09 p.m. Monday, January 21, on eastbound 580 Freeway, just west of Santa Rita Road off-ramp.
Officials said that four vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition remained unknown.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
