Rider Critically Injured in Placerville Motorcycle Accident at Sly Park and Ridgeway
Placerville, California (August 25, 2019) – A motorcyclist was critically injured in a traffic collision in the area of Placerville Friday evening, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The motorcycle crash was reported shortly before 8:22 p.m. August 23, in the area of Sly Park Road and Ridgeway Drive.
As per the CHP report, a vehicle of unspecified built collided with a man riding a motorcycle at the intersection for reasons under investigation. Due to the impact, the rider slammed into a tree after the collision.

The male party sustained major trauma injuries following the wreck. The victim was attended to by paramedics who responded at the scene shortly after the crash. The name and current condition of the patient have not yet been disclosed to this time.
It was not clear whether or not the driver of the involved vehicle stopped after the crash and cooperated with the officers’ investigation.
