Minor Injuries Sustained in Pittsburg Crash on Highway 4 at San Marco Boulevard Off-Ramp

Pittsburg, California (March 1, 2021) – Minor injuries were suffered in a two-vehicle accident that happened Sunday morning in Pittsburg, the California Highway Patrol said.

The collision was reported at about 10:27 a.m. on eastbound Highway 4 at the San Marco Boulevard off-ramp.

As per the report, a truck with a trailer hauling horses collided with a white sedan under unclear circumstances.

The sedan ended up on the right-hand shoulder and the truck blocking the slow lane.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that minor injuries were sustained. The number of patients was, however, not mentioned. It was also not clear if anyone was hospitalized.

The sedan sustained major front-end damage.

CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
