3 Injured in Car Accident at Jamacha Road and Brabham Street in Rancho San Diego

San Diego, California (March 1, 2021) – Three people were injured after a man fleeing sheriff’s deputies crashed into another vehicle in San Diego on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Jamacha Road and Brabham Street at about 10:52 a.m.
The deputies had tried to stop a green Geo Metro along Highway 94. The motorist, who has since been identified as 34-year-old Joshua Furister, failed to stop and sped westbound on Highway 94.
The motorist ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a black minivan.
Furister and a second occupant of the Geo Metro were injured in the accident.
A single occupant of the minivan was also transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Furister faces charges of felony reckless evading arrest and reckless driving.
