Minor Injuries Sustained in Phelan Crash on 15 Freeway near Ranchero Road
Phelan, California (February 14, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision Thursday morning in the area of Phelan, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 8:40 a.m. Thursday, on northbound 15 Freeway, south of Ranchero Road.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles including an officer’s car crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Officials closed lane 1 following the collision. The roadway was cleared as of 10:36 a.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
