80-Year-old Man Hurt in Laguna Beach Pedestrian Crash on South Coast Highway and Mountain Street
Laguna Beach, California (February 14, 2019) – An elderly man was struck and injured by an Uber vehicle in Laguna Beach on Wednesday night, Laguna Beach police said.
The crash occurred just before 8 p.m. February 12 on South Coast Highway and Mountain Street.
Police said the man was trying to cross Mountain Street when the vehicle hit him.
The victim, an 80-year-old man, was transported to Mission Hospital- Mission Viejo with critical injuries.
The identities of the parties involved in the accident were not immediately released.
The crash is under investigation.
