Peter Lusa Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Samoa Bridge near Eureka in Humboldt County

Humboldt County, California (March 8, 2019) – Police have identified one of the three people injured Tuesday evening in a multi-vehicle crash in Humboldt County as Peter Lusa, according to a local news source.

The incident was reported around 6:00 p.m. March 5, on the Samoa Bridge east of Eureka.

The California Highway Patrol said Peter, the driver of a Chevrolet pickup, was eastbound on the bridge when a Toyota Tacoma heading west swerved into his lane. Peter managed to avoid a collision with the Tacoma, but the Tacoma collided head-on with a Volkswagen which was just behind the Chevrolet.

Peter sustained minor injuries in the crash. Two other people were injured in the collision.

The crash is under investigation.
