Fatal Injuries Reported in Petaluma Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 near E Washington Street Onramp
Petaluma, California (October 2, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning motorcycle accident that resulted in fatal injuries in Petaluma.
The deadly accident happened at about 1:19 a.m. on northbound Highway 101, just north of the E Washington Street onramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle collided with a vehicle on the highway in unclear circumstances.
Fatal injuries were reported in the accident. It was not clear if the victim killed was the motorcyclist.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
