1 Killed in Car Crash on Olinda Road in Shasta County
Happy Valley, California (October 2, 2020) – One person was killed in a car crash in Happy Valley, Shasta County, on Friday morning.
The California Highway Patrol said a man was driving a car westbound on Olinda Road when he lost control and crashed into a tree.
The impact of the crash reportedly split the 1992 Chevy Corvette into two pieces.
The driver, who was identified only as an Anderson man, was killed in the accident.
The authorities did not immediately establish if alcohol was involved in the accident.
