Petaluma, CA: CHP Investigating Major Collision on Adobe and Corona Roads

Petaluma, California (May 30, 2021) – At least one person suffered severe injuries Sunday evening in a crash that occurred at an intersection in Petaluma, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities said the collision happened at around 6:24 p.m. at Adobe Road and Corona Road.

A Subaru Crosstrek collided with an Acura TL for unknown reasons.

The Subaru went about 30 feet off the roadway after the impact. One of the vehicles possibly overturned and landed back on its wheels in the crash.

Both drivers were conscious and talking after the accident.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed that major injuries were sustained in the collision. An ambulance was sent to the scene to provide medical aid and transport at least one patient to the hospital.

Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.

CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the wreck.
