Culver City, California (May 7, 2021) – A person died following a Culver City train crash near Exposition Boulevard and Bagley Avenue on Thursday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The incident was reported shortly before 1 p.m. May 6.

It’s unclear how the pedestrian was hit by a Metro E Line train.

Pedestrian Killed in Culver City Train Accident

The victim, who was not immediately identified, died at the site of the accident.

The accident caused a stoppage of train service between the Culver City and Palms stations. The services were restored at around 4:40 p.m.

Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
