David Santiago ID’d as Teen Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Highway 180 at Fowler Avenue

Fresno, California (May 7, 2021) – The Fresno County Coroner’s Bureau has identified the teenage pedestrian who died after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday night in Fresno as David Cordova Santiago, 19.
The deadly accident took place on Highway 180 at Fowler Avenue on Wednesday, May 5.
According to the authorities, a car, occupied by Santiago and two other people, pulled over to the side of the highway.
For undetermined reasons, Santiago exited the vehicle and ran into the roadway. He was then hit by a passing car.
Santiago died in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
