Man Killed in Perris Pedestrian Accident at Perris Boulevard and San Jacinto Avenue
Perris, California (January 22, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Thursday evening at a Perris intersection, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The deadly accident happened at around 5:34 p.m. Thursday, January 21, near the intersection of Perris Boulevard and San Jacinto Avenue.
Authorities said the pedestrian was hit by a gray 2012 Nissan Sentra on the roadway for unknown reasons.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and performed life-saving measures on the pedestrian. The victim was then taken to the Riverside University Health Systems Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Nissan stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.
