Pedestrian Killed in Long Beach Crash near Jeff Davis Avenue
Long Beach, California (May 20, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Long Beach on Thursday morning, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
At around 8:15 a.m. May 19, police said a pedestrian was hit by a train near the Jeff Davis Avenue crossing.
Pedestrian Killed in Long Beach Train Crash
The pedestrian, who was not immediately identified, died in the accident.
The train was stopped for nearly two hours as authorities investigated the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
