Person Injured in Rio Linda Pedestrian Accident at M Street and Rio Linda Boulevard
Rio Linda, California (April 9, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle Monday night at a Rio Linda intersection, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 8:06 p.m. Monday, April 8 at the intersection of M Street and Rio Linda Boulevard.
As per the CHP report, the pedestrian was struck by a yellow Jeep for reasons still under investigation at the intersection.

Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the pedestrian who might have sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
Later, the CHP report mentioned that two vehicles were involved in the crash. The Jeep was found lifted approximately 6 feet off the roadway and the other car was seen in a driveway.
The crash remains under investigation.
