At Least 1 Person Hospitalized after Bay Point Crash on Highway 4 at Railroad Avenue
Bay Point, California (April 9, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized Monday morning after a traffic accident in Bay Point, authorities reported.
The wreck was reported after 11:45 a.m. Monday, April 8 at the Railroad Avenue on-ramp to westbound Highway 4.
According to the authorities, five vehicles were involved in the crash. One of the vehicles, a white box truck, went on fire after the impact.
Major-Injury Car Accident Bay Point Monday
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and took at least one person to a hospital with major injuries. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not disclosed.
The crash caused the closure of several lanes on Highway 4 as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
