Paul Brown Killed in Willits Crash on Sherwood Road
Willits, California (May 8, 2021) – The authorities are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 41-year-old Mendocino County man early Friday morning in Willits.
According to CHP, a vehicle was traveling westbound on Sherwood Road when the driver crossed over the double yellow lines and collided with Paul Brown, who was walking on the south asphalt shoulder.
The accident was reported at around 1 a.m.

Brown later succumbed to his injuries.
The involved motorist fled the scene after the accident.
Authorities said the suspect was operating a vehicle believed to be a silver, 2018-2020 Hyundai Accent .
The CHP is investigating the accident.
