10-Year-Old Patrick Yarborough-Genniss Jr Dies in Torrance Pedestrian Accident on Del Amo Boulevard
Torrance, California (March 29, 2019) – The 10-year-old boy who was hit and killed by a vehicle in Torrance Tuesday evening has been identified as Patrick Yarborough-Genniss Jr., according to a local news source.
The accident was reported at about 9:00 p.m. March 26, on Del Amo Boulevard.
The report indicated that Yarborough-Genniss Jr. was hit while walking on the sidewalk by a 2018 Ford pickup truck traveling eastbound on Del Amo. The Ford driver struck the boy while attempting to avoid a dog which entered his lane.

Yarborough-Genniss Jr. was pronounced dead shortly after the collision.
Alcohol or drugs were not believed to have played a role in the accident.
No further information was given concerning the fatal crash.
