2 Hospitalized After Palm Springs 2-Vehicle Crash at Palm Canyon Drive and Racquet Club Road

Palm Springs, California (June 21, 2020) – Two people were transported to the hospital after being involved in a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Palm Springs Saturday morning.
The major injury accident happened at the intersection of North Palm Canyon Drive and Racquet Club Road, just about 10:13 a.m.
The mishap involved a vehicle traveling straight on Palm Canyon Drive and a second car making a left turn onto West Racquet Club from North Palm Canyon Drive. The two vehicles collided head-on for reasons still under investigation, a local news source reported.

The operators of both automobiles sustained major injuries in the wreck. The two unidentified patients were rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center by paramedics for further medical aid.
Meanwhile, the Palm Springs Police Department said one of the drivers was in critical condition while the other one was listed in serious but stable condition.
The wreck resulted in the highway’s closure for around an hour as investigation and clean-up took place.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
