1 Killed in Pala Mesa Car Accident on 15 Freeway near Old Highway 395
Pala Mesa, California (November 28, 2019) – One person was killed in a collision involving an ambulance in Pala Mesa, San Diego, on Thursday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident happened on Interstate 15 Freeway near Old Highway 395 at about 10:10 a.m.
The North County Fire Protection said the paramedics were assisting a driver and two passengers who had been injured in of a single-vehicle crash when a second car crashed into the ambulance.
The driver of the second car was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The only passenger in the second car was killed in the crash.
Two paramedics were also injured in the accident.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
