Frank Roberson Jr ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in San Jose Crash on Almaden Expressway and Curtner Avenue

San Jose, California (November 28, 2019) – The pedestrian who was fatally hit by a vehicle on Sunday in San Jose has been identified as Frank Roberson Jr., 53, of San Jose, according to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.
The crash took place on Almaden Expressway and Curtner Avenue at about 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, November 24.
Police said Roberson was walking across from Canoas Garden Avenue on Almaden Expressway when he was hit by a 2007 Toyota Camry traveling southbound.

Roberson died as a result of the accident.
The driver of the Toyota was unhurt and remained at the scene.
The expressway was closed between Highway 87 and Ironwood Drive as the authorities investigated the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
