Pacific Palisades, California (July 12, 2021) – Possible injuries were reported following a traffic collision involving a pair of semi-trucks in Pacific Palisades Monday evening, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash happened at about 6:32 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway near Topanga Canyon Boulevard.

According to the CHP, a white Toyota truck collided with a brown Toyota truck on the northbound side of Pacific Coast Highway.

The vehicles were blocking the northbound lanes after the crash. The southbound vehicles trying to drive around the wrecked cars were nearly colliding with oncoming traffic, the CHP said.

The extent of the injuries sustained in the crash was not immediately available.

A tow truck was dispatched to the crash site to remove the wrecked vehicles.

The crash remains under investigation.
