Grover Beach, California (July 12, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon in a collision with an SUV at an intersection in Grover Beach, police said.
The fatal crash was reported at about 2:36 p.m. at the intersection of 4th Street and Newport Avenue.
According to the police, the SUV collided with the motorcyclist under unclear circumstances at the Grover Beach intersection.
Deadly Motorcycle Collision in Grover Beach
The male rider was pronounced deceased at the scene, despite life-saving measures performed by responding paramedics. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
The SUV driver did not suffer any injuries in the crash.
