Mother Sustains Minor Injuries after Car Crashes Into 2 Oxnard Garages on M Street

Oxnard, California (January 23, 2021) – A mother survived with minor injuries following an alleged hit-and-run collision Thursday morning in Oxnard, a local news source reported.
The minor injury crash took place in the alley behind the 1100 block of South M Street shortly before 10:30 a.m. near the cross with Hill Street.
As per the report, an SUV plowed into the corner of two garages in a residential area south of Wooley Road and east of South Ventura Road.
Officials said a mother and child were sleeping in one of the structures at the collision time.
Due to the impact, both victims were pushed off the bed.
Minor Injury Oxnard Hit-and-Run Crash
The mother sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Meanwhile, there was no other person hurt, including the child.
The SUV operator, a heavyset man in his 40s with brown hair and wearing a black shirt, did not stop to render aid and fled the crash site.
The accident remains under investigation by the Oxnard Police Department officers to locate the suspect.
