46-Year-Old Man Seriously Hurt in Oxnard Bicycle Crash on C Street and Rincon Way
Oxnard, California (October 3, 2019) – A bicyclist was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a suspected hit-and-run driver early Wednesday morning in Oxnard.
According to the authorities, the incident took place at about 12:10 a.m. October 2, on C Street and Rincon Way.
Police said a 46-year-old man riding a bicycle was hit by a vehicle whose driver left the scene. The driver dragged the victim about 100 feet while fleeing the scene.
Man Hospitalized after Oxnard Bicycle Crash
The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
The suspect was operating a vehicle believed to be a Honda Accord.
The Oxnard Police Department is investigating the crash.
