70-Year-Old Woman Killed in Oxnard Pedestrian Crash on Oxnard Boulevard and Ash Street
Oxnard, California (September 24, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday night in Oxnard.
According to Oxnard police, the crash was reported at around 9:45 p.m. September 23, on Oxnard Boulevard and Ash Street.
Police said a 70-year-old Oxnard woman was walking eastbound across Oxnard Boulevard in a marked crosswalk at Ash street when she was hit by a northbound minivan.

The victim was rushed to Ventura County Medical Center, where she was later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the minivan stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Police said alcohol and drugs were unlikely factors in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
