Oscar Cordoza Hurt in Exeter Bicycle Accident on Visalia Road at Quince Avenue
Exeter, California (February 12, 2019) – A man was taken to a hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Exeter while riding his bicycle on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported around 8:05 p.m. February 8, on Visalia Road at Quince Avenue.
The collision occurred when 25-year-old Oscar Cardoza was struck by a 58-year-old woman while riding in a marked crosswalk.
Cardozo sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a trauma center by the responding paramedics.
The driver of the SUV involved in the wreck suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
No further details concerning the crash were made available.
The crash remained under investigation.
