Granada Hills, CA: Multi-Car Crash on 5 Freeway and San Fernando Mission Boulevard
Minor Injuries Reported in Granada Hills Crash on 5 Freeway and San Fernando Mission Boulevard
Granada Hills, California (February 11, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision Monday evening in the area of Granada Hills, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 5:32 p.m. Monday, on 5 Freeway, just north of San Fernando Mission Boulevard.
As per the officials, three vehicles including a gray Honda Pilot crashed for unknown reasons.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were sent to the scene to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking the HOV lane following the accident.
The roadway was clear, and all the vehicles moved to the right shoulder of the roadway as of 5:55 p.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
