Actor Orson Bean ID’d as Person Killed in Venice Pedestrian Crash on Venice Boulevard
Venice, California (February 8, 2020) – The person who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday evening in Venice has been identified as actor Orson Bean, 91, according to a local news source.
The deadly collision happened just before 7:35 p.m. February 7, in the 700 block of Venice Boulevard.
Police said Bean was hit by a car between Shell Avenue and Pisani Place.

Bean was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the involved car stayed at the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
