Oroville, California (December 4, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that occurred Tuesday afternoon involving a semi-truck in Oroville, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash involved a white Dodge and a big rig and occurred at about 4:40 p.m. on northbound Highway 70 at Montgomery Street off-ramp.

Southbound Highway 70 was closed to allow an air ambulance to land and airlift at least one person who sustained serious injuries.

Southbound lanes were reopened at 5:31 p.m.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and the responsible party.
