Orange Cove, CA: Motorcyclist Airlifted after Crash with Semi at Hills Valley Rd and Manning Ave
Rider Seriously Injured in Orange Cove Crash at S Hills Valley Road and Manning Avenue
Orange Cove, California (February 27, 2021) – A motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital with severe injuries after a Friday evening Orange Cove crash, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident happened at about 7:21 p.m. at the intersection of S Hills Valley Road and Manning Avenue.
As per the report, the motorcyclist collided with a semi-truck under unclear circumstances, ending up underneath the semi.
Firefighters rushed to the scene to find the rider conscious but with severe injuries. SkyLife Air Ambulance responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.
There was no word given about the driver of the semi.
The accident left the intersection completely blocked for about an hour.
Authorities are collecting more information to establish the cause of the collision.
