Motorcyclist Injured in 405 Freeway Crash near Bristol Street in Costa Mesa
Orange County, California (January 17, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured Thursday morning in a traffic accident in Costa Mesa, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The wreck, which was reported at around 7:41 a.m., happened on Interstate 405 Freeway, just north of Bristol Street.
As per the CHP report, a car collided with a motorcycle for an unknown reason on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway. Reportedly, the rider went down in the HOV lane while the black Toyota Corolla sedan blocked the No. 1 lane of the freeway, as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel responded to the scene and rendered aid to the motorcyclist who was injured in the crash. The name of the victim and their condition at this time remained unknown.
No other details were immediately provided. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
