Two Hurt in Orange County Boat Crash near Huntington Beach
Orange County, California (January 4, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized after a boat they were in capsized near an Orange County beach on Thursday morning.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Harbor Patrol, the incident was reported at about 11 a.m. January 3 near the Huntington Beach pier.
Responding deputies found a boat that had overturned. Two men, one in his 60s and the other in his 70s, were on board the boat when it capsized.
The older victim was unconscious while the other one was conscious. The two were transported by the Harbor Patrol boat to a local hospital for treatment.
It was not immediately established why the boat capsized.
The authorities are working to find out the cause of the wreck.
