Ontario, CA: Fatal Fiery Crash Involving Semi on 10 Freeway Wednesday Night
At Least 1 Killed in Ontario Big Rig Crash on 10 Freeway near 15 Freeway
Ontario, California (July 23, 2020) – At least one person died in a big rig collision that happened Wednesday night on 10 Freeway in Ontario, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Authorities received reports of a traffic crash involving a Toyota semi-truck and a Cadillac car that happened just before 10:00 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway just west of 15 Freeway.
One of the vehicles caught fire after the impact.
Ontario firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene where one patient was found unconscious.
CHP said at least one person was killed in the collision.
Both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
Officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
