1 Killed, At Least 6 Others Injured in Gilroy Car Crash on Highway 152 and Bloomfield Road
Gilroy, California (September 23, 2019) – One person was killed and at least six others injured after a multi-vehicle crash Sunday night in the area of Gilroy, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly collision happened at around 8:35 p.m. Sunday, September 22, at Highway 152 and Bloomfield Road.
As per the CHP officials, a big rig and at least two other cars crashed for unknown reasons.

One person was confirmed dead as a result of the crash. The name of the victim was not immediately released awaiting notification of next of kin.
Responding emergency crews attended to six persons who suffered injuries of an unknown degree in the collision. It was not immediately clear if the patients were transported to the hospital or were treated at the scene.
Authorities closed eastbound lanes of Highway 152 to give way to a clearing and a rescue operation.
No other information concerning this crash was provided.
An investigation is underway.
