Santa Paula, California (July 23, 2021) – One person died following a plane crash near Santa Paula on Friday evening, according to the Ventura County Fire Department.
The incident was reported at about 6:05 p.m. in the area near the 6000 block of Wheeler Canyon Road.
An ultralight glider reportedly crashed into a remote area for unknown reasons.

The pilot, a Ventura man, died in the crash.
