Roofing Employee Killed in Ojai Fall Accident at Building near Libbey Avenue
Ojai, California (April 26, 2019) – A man died after an accident where he fell from a ladder while performing roofing works in Ojai Thursday morning, according to the authorities.
The crash was reported at about 11:30 p.m. April 25, in the 800 block of Libbey Avenue.
The Ventura County Fire Department responded to the accident and found the victim unconscious at the scene. The victim, a man in his 40s, was a roofing employee and fell off a 10-foot ladder.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities said the incident is being investigated as an industrial accident.
The California Division of Occupational Health and Safety are handling the investigation.
