Ronald Estes Arrested after Fatal Oceanside Motorcycle Crash on Oceanside Boulevard

Oceanside, California (February 9, 2020) – A driver was arrested following a fatal crash that left a motorcyclist dead on Saturday afternoon in Oceanside, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
The collision happened at about 2:20 p.m. February 8, on Oceanside Boulevard.
Police said a truck was exiting the El Corazon compost facility when the driver made an illegal left turn and collided with a motorcyclist traveling westbound on Oceanside Boulevard.
The rider was killed in the crash. He was only identified as a 53-year-old Oceanside man.
Ronald Estes Arrested after Fatal Oceanside Motorcycle Crash
Police arrested the driver of the truck, identified as Ronald Estes, on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter.
Oceanside Boulevard was closed for several hours as officials investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
