Man Killed in Oakland Hit-and-Run Accident on Hegenberger Road near Oakland Coliseum
Oakland, California (December 10, 2020) – A man died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver while walking across a street in Oakland early Wednesday morning, according to a local news source.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at around 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, in the 500 block of Hegenberger Road near the Oakland Coliseum.
According to the authorities, the man was crossing the street and was in the southbound lanes of Hegenberger Road when a vehicle hit him.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The driver involved did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the scene. There was no description of the suspect’s vehicle or the driver.
A reward of up to $10,000 is available for anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of the driver.
