1 Injured in Oakland Car Crash on 80 Freeway near Ashby Avenue
Oakland, California (January 31, 2021) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in Oakland on Sunday evening, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened along the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 Freeway near Ashby Avenue at about 5:50 p.m.
A dark-colored SUV and three other vehicles were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
