Oakland, California (July 23, 2021) – A 23-year-old Oakland man Sustained critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Oakland Wednesday night.
The 9:35 p.m. major injury crash happened at Grand Avenue and Perkins Street on July 21.
The man was crossing southbound in a marked crosswalk when a silver Toyota Camry, driven by a 23-year-old Oakland woman westbound on Grand Avenue, hit him for undetermined reasons.
Oakland Pedestrian Accident
As per the report, the male pedestrian was hospitalized with critical injuries after the collision.
The Toyota motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the law enforcers.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
