Woman Killed, 2 Hurt in North Hollywood Accident at Victory Boulevard and Vineland Avenue
North Hollywood, California (March 27, 2019) – A female party died while two other people were injured in a traffic accident that happened in North Hollywood on Monday afternoon, as per the authorities.
The crash, which was reported at around 3:05 p.m. March 26, occurred at the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Vineland Avenue
The authorities said a suspected drunk BMW driver ran a red light at the intersection and slammed into a second car. The impact sent one of the vehicles crashing into a female pedestrian.
Woman Killed in North Hollywood Pedestrian Crash
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash.
The suspected DUI driver was also injured and transported to a hospital for medication.
The police said the BMW driver will be charged for DUI after being discharged from the hospital.
An investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
