3 Hospitalized after Major North Hollywood Crash at North Tujunga Avenue and Erwin Street
North Hollywood, California (February 12, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a major two-vehicle collision that left three persons with injuries on Tuesday afternoon in North Hollywood.
The major collision happened at around 12:40 p.m. at the intersection of North Tujunga Avenue and Erwin Street.
As per the CHP officials, police were trying to stop a stolen car but the driver drove faster and crashed into a truck at the junction.
3 Hospitalized after North Hollywood 2-Car Crash
Two persons were pinned in the stolen vehicle. The two parties were freed by responding firefighters. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment of severe injuries.
Another person involved in the collision was also taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities closed the Erwin Street and Tujunga Avenue intersection as a result of the collision.
