Nicole Grantham ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Buellton Crash on Highway 101 near Jonata Park Road
Buellton, California (December 21, 2020) – Nicole Grantham, 31, of Paso Robles, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a motorcycle crash on Saturday in Buellton, the CHP said.
The deadly accident occurred at about noon on Highway 101, south of Jonata Park Road.
According to the officials, Grantham was riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound in the number 2 lane of the highway when a Volkswagen pulled into the center median from Jonata Park Road.
The Volkswagen entered the northbound lanes directly in front of Grantham. Unfortunately, Grantham’s motorcycle crashed into the back of the Volkswagen, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Highway 101 Crash Kills Nicole Grantham
Grantham was airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
