1 Hurt in Newhall Car Accident on 5 Freeway near 210 Freeway
Newhall, California (September 30, 2020) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that happened on 5 Freeway in Newhall on Tuesday afternoon, September 29.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 1:21 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 Freeway near Interstate 210 Freeway.
A dump truck and a sedan were involved in the accident. Although the events leading up to the collision were not immediately established, the impact of the collision reportedly caused the sedan to overturn onto its roof.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
